Gayle
Campaigning for Mayor
These photos of Gayle's 2006 campaign for Mayor of Richmond
partially capture the wide diversity of Richmond residents. To offset
her not accepting any corporate donations, Gayle and her supporters
run a grass-roots campaign that goes door-to-door, to street-corners,
local events, and meetings organized by neighborhood supporters, unions,
environmentalists, and other local groups.

to demand that Cal EPA take immediate environmental oversight of these
sites.
