Gayle's Community Involvement (Page 2)


On May 1, 2006, Gayle marches for Immigrant Rights with the Richmond Greens in San Francisco. An estimated 1000,000 people joined this protest, which was one of many held in the Bay-area this day.

On February 15, 2005, Gayle presents her motion to the Richmond City Council calling for oversight of the toxic cleanup at the old Zeneca site.

 



Richmond and Oakland Greens come together at a planning meeting for the Aimee Allison campaign on February 12, 2005, to advance electoral work.  Gayle McLaughlin with endorser Dr. Henry Clark, of the West County Toxics Coalition, at the Richmond People's Convention, held July 31, 2004.
